Rosko & Sumsuch

Rosko cut his teeth on Nottingham's free party scene, the tough, streetworn yet hyptotic and melodic sounds that poured out from massive speaker stacks crouched amongst Nottinghamshire fields and forests profoundly influencing his style and love of brooding, edgy, unusual house music.

Moving back to London in 2000, he joined nascent pirate station HouseFM and broadcast his influential and much loved latenitelounging show for over five years.

Brighton based musician, producer, remixer and DJ, SumSuch is a consistent champion of new underground soul, jazz and hip hop and has become one of the city’s best regarded underground DJs.

Much in demand as producer, DJ and remixer, with Agent & Raynge, Lizz Fields, Soulphonic Soundsystem, This Is Rhythm and Candy Apple all having recieved the SumSuch treatment already this year.

As a DJ partnership they have a forged a deserved reputation for playing great records in the right order. Deft are proud to be putting out their first release.
