Highly regarded Brighton producer and DJ
Sumsuch chooses Deft for his first house-orientated release. From
the sheer beauty of Wait for Me, via the stripped back electric
squelches of Bare Bones to a slab of pure summer Beach-House in
Ready? this unusual and genre bending release has something for
everyone.
And as if that wasn’t enough, fellow brightonite and Catskills stalwart, Bushy, pops up on remix duties and turns in a drastic rerub that sounds somewhat akin to Todd Edwards on a dodgy pill in the Zap Club...in a good way.
Bushy has been releasing on Catskills since 1997, producing the classic album ‘Hiya’ in 2002, which received plaudits from across the musical spectrum and was remixed by Groove Armada and Rae & Christian.
More recently, he’s been indulging his passion for strange house music, producing stand out releases for UK imprints such as Stompaphunk.
His eagerly awaited second album is just near it’s completion and we’re proud to have the little furry animal on deft.
